Gboyega attended Obafemi Awolowo University where he bagged B.Sc Botany Degree (dissertation in Ecology) in 1994. He thereafter qualified as a chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN) in 2000. He completed his MBA (Finance) at Lagos State University in 2003 and another B.Sc in Banking and Finance from the Olabisi Onabanjo University in 2004 since he was working in Banking at that time. Early work experience was with Mutual Connections where he participated in a project assessing import duty alongside Nigerian Customs Service at Apapa port. He then worked with MBC International Bank (now part of First Bank) from 1999 to 2001. He also worked at First City Monument Bank from 2001 to 2005 in Risk Management before relocating to the UK where he worked with Heathmill Business Service (Quality Assurance & Sales) from 2005 to 2007. He left there for Trafigura Limited, a global oil trading company where he stayed until 2009 working as an accountant. Gboyega is a member of the following professional bodies: Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA).
Emmanuel obtained his B.Sc in Environmental Science & Geology from the University of Buea, Cameroun in 1999. He subsequently went to the University of Cambridge, England for his M.Phil in Environment & Development in 2002 and his D.Phil in Geography from the University of Oxford, England in 2009. He is a fellow of the Pan-African Institute of Development, West Africa (PAID-WA) Cameroun. A visiting research fellow at the University of Manchester, visiting scholar at Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, a research associate at Commonwealth Policy Studies Unit (CPSU) London and visiting fellow institute at the Institute of African Development (IAD), Cornell University. He has lectured and consulted extensively and has several publications under his belt.
Mobolaji obtained his B.Sc in Electronics & Electrical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University in 1990 and worked with Siemens (Nig) Ltd from 1991 to 1997 as an Electrical engineer. He worked as project manager from Bolarge computers. In 2001 he left to pursue his M.Sc Electrical Engineering at the University of Guanajuato, Mexico which was completed in 2003. He obtained a CPGA of 9.17 out of a possible 10 (First 1% of M.Sc class) and this was remarkably achieved in a foreign language. He came back and lectured at the University of Agriculture Abeokuta from 2003 to 2007. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Communication and System in the UK. Bolaji has knowledge and hands on experience in digital signals processing, communication, electrical power distribution, instrumentation systems, automation systems and control. Bolaji is a member of the following professional bodies: Institute of Engineering & technology, Institute of Electronics & Electrical engineering, Nigerian Society of Engineers, Council of Regulation of Engineering Nigeria (COREN) and the Nigerian Institute of Management.
Kayode’s first post-high school qualification was an HND in Building from the Willesden College of Technology (now Northwest College). He subsequently bagged a B.Sc in Quantity Surveying from the Liverpool John Moore University. He is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors UK. His work experience started in 1983 and this has been from several African and UK employers. He is also currently a member of the British Government team for improvement of construction in Nigeria under a World Bank/British Government-backed program.
